Good Samaritan provides roadside aid in rainstorm

Dear Editor,

On Monday, July 19, our daughter and three grandsons were driving from Houston to our place near Palestine. Just outside of Huntsville, they had a flat tire. A wonderful gentleman stopped to help in a rainstorm.

He would not give her his name saying that people had stopped to help him and he was just repeating the favor. What a great guy!! Since we do not have his name we are hoping you will print this and he will see it in the paper.

We are so appreciative of his offer to help. It would have taken us an hour or so to get to her to help.

Thanks so much to this nice man and his wife. We are very grateful that there are such wonderful people who live in Crockett.

He did tell her that they lived in Crockett. Since we moved here from Houston, we have not taken time to visit your fair city, but you can be sure we will make the time now.
